This is okay, I don't want to be married anytime soon! I'd rather see my friends all settle down and, I will settle for getting all the awesome Bridesmaids Gifts like this! It's almost that for that special birthday, you know the one where the little one probably won't remember but, you will. Baby First Birthday is always the most important. You want to really make it special with all the fun baby gifts, favors, balloons and, the cake. I don't remember my first birthday but, my mom took enough pictures to fill an entire album. Now, that I have a little one, I'm following in my mom's footsteps. There is never a moment that I want to miss. I will definitely have enough pictures to reminisce with my little one!

Trying Out my Green Thumb!

Grow lights that are not only affordable, but, the best around can help even the laziest plants grow! Take it from me, I recently started a small little greenhouse as a hobby to try out my green thumb. I was really excited because, I had this little spot in the backyard shed, with the grow light system all set up and, wow, I can't believe all the little sprouts already coming up! I can't wait to have my own fresh veggies for my salads! Hey, with the way gas prices are going up, I have to figure out ways to save anyway I can!

A Little Help in the Jewelry Department!

Father's Day this year was great. My significant other was quite a bear until I whipped out his gift. He loves black so, I splurged on one of those black titanium wedding rings. He doesn't have to wear on his left hand if he doesn't want to. It looks great on any finger! I thought I would give him a little style boost in the jewelry department. Hey, everyone could use a little help now and, then, including myself! I really think he liked it!

More Baby Showers!

I have been to so many baby showers these past few months! What is going on? Everyone I know is having babies! Yeah, I have one. Just one and, that's all I'm gonna have! But, some of these people are just having more than I personally could ever handle! If I thought one was hard, kudos to the moms I know that two or more! Wow! Don't get me wrong I love kids, I'm just feeling too old for this! Anyway, I attended these baby showers and, look back at my shower that I had. Why didn't I think of half of the cool thing that I saw at these showers. The games, the baby shower favors, and, decorations were amazing! I was actually feeling sorry for myself, because my shower was pretty lame by, comparison. Well, hey, I was away from home when my shower was thrown, so, I was out of my element and, away from the people who knew me my entire life. Maybe if I was back home, my shower party would of been a lot different! Who knows!

Childhood Memories...

What mom wouldn't just gush of a nursery as perfect as this set up? I love the zoo themed crib bedding with all the cute animals. Growing up I had a lot of siblings and, I can faintly recall the nursery. This picture reminded me of it with the lions, elephants and, long necked giraffes! I spent a lot of time in that room because, it was so cozy and fun. When I became mom, I decorated the room quite close to this. I think this was one of my childhood memories I wanted to relive!
